Creating background of Microsoft web site

How to create the background of Microsoft web site? This is simple tutorial on request of Chayaphol a trickyclicks user.





Create a new file width=934px & height=276px.

Create a new layer and apply this color #dfeef5 as bg (background) of layer.



Create a another layer & select brush tool, set foreground color to #288cc1”.

  

From properties bar open brush preset picker and select “soft round 200px”,set opacity = 50% and Flow =75%



Using brush draw similar strokes as in image.



Now create a new layer select “Single Row Marquee Tool” and draw a line & fill it “white color”. Change layers opacity to 50%





Duplicate that line layer and move it 1px upwards using arrow key. Press the lock transparent pixel button now color it 50% gray. Change layer opacity to 50%.
